So I Finally Updated This Thing…

Hey, welcome to the first entry of my sporadically updated blog that my web mistress (the woman that does my website, not a Mistress I met on the web) wanted me to start. So the reason it’s taken THIS LONG to write one is for a few reasons.

1.) I have HORRIFIC ADHD. It’s one of those that’s so bad that I sometimes legitimately forget things that I can’t physically see sometimes. Not on purpose or anything, it’s just not in my head at the time.

2.) I immediately started on the second book in the series and forgot to promote this one. Might explain the sales.

3.) I also started on a vampire book that has taken over my life the last few months and I need to get that one finished for my own sanity. Very much comedy horror. My target audience seems to love what I have down so far.

So, why am I doing this now? Well, I have a brand new cover by the wonderful Saeri from https://saeriatyourservice.carrd.co and I wanted to commemorate the experience. Seriously, I love this thing. Don’t blame her for the font choices or placement though. That was all me. If you love the art, maybe give her a commission and drop my name.

I still love the original cover, personally. The problem is I’ve been told it looks like homework. Like something your teacher would assign you for summer reading. Which, I mean, that makes sense since it was kind of inspired by The Old Man and The Sea. The artist, Dimitri from paintingsbydimitri.com did a wonderful job and I own the actual physical painting. That said, I can see everyone’s point and have acquiesced to their request.

The cover is of Cameron and the titular Mach Diver itself. I kind of love it and am probably going to look into poster prints if there’s enough demand.

Anyway, this was just a quick excuse/announcement post. Maybe I’ll remember this exists and post something again soon. Thanks for reading and buying the book!
